Fame Game online is based off of the real-world offline Fame Game.

The system creates profiles and calculates its rankings by looking at what the media is saying about individuals, organizations, events and projects. As the Fame Game’s players get written about, photographed and socially connected, their fame rises with the increase in the attention they receive.

This information is automatically collected from media partners and a curated selection of websites, but a portion is also contributed by a growing population who have “claimed” their profile on Fame Game (click here to learn more).

We have made it our mission to figure out how these players work together in the real world, and bring that model online.
